Q: How did you meet Terrell "Terry"?
A: I met Terry in the 2nd grade and we were best friends. We walked home from east Chattanooga elementary school to battery heights apartments where we both lived. We both loved the outdoors, so we made friends very easily.

Terry aka Uncle Cuz will be greatly missed, but I know he is having a great reunion in heaven with my brother Trey. I’m sure they are already in the woods scouting deer and turkey or catching some bass. Every time I saw Terry he was always the same, quiet and chill, which is different in my family, lol. I was always welcomed with a sweet embrace and a “Hey Pooh”. We will all miss Uncle Cuz and will cherish all the great memories we have with him.

You will missed very much! You always were a pleasure to be around. Your sweetness your kindness you listened and you just smiled and giggled and brought that wonderful positive smile with you all the time. Thank you for your presence and just being you! Thank you for memories along the past 10 or so years and w my oldest son Paton. Kayaking, canoeing, camp fires, hanging out. Your soul was one of the sweetest people I have ever met. You were such a delight to be around and will be missed dearly. RIP Terry ❤️

Terry had done yard work for me the last couple of years. He was always polite and respectful to me. Never addressed me by anything except "Maam". He thought my pecan tarts were the best thing he had ever eaten. The last time I saw him, I sent a batch home with him. What a smile it brought to his face!
Earlier this spring,I told Lance I wanted an old, useless bicycle to paint and put a flower basket on it, to use as yard art. A few days later, Terry left one in my driveway.
I will think of Terry everytime I see that bicycle in my back yard or make pecan tarts.
I will miss his kind face and kind voice.
