Margie was a friend who never changed, she was the same Margie wherever or whenever you saw her. I loved her and will miss running into my sweet friend .

Donna and Family: I have old memories of your family at Mile Straight Baptist Church back in the late 60s to early 70s. I rode the church bus that your dad drove. I also remember seeing you on the job in later years. Years have flown, however I remember your sweet mother and your family very well. May God give you the peace that surpasses all understanding. So sorry to hear of Mrs. Margie passing. She was always so gracious and honest with me. I was amazed at her tenacity and never stop attitude. A wonderful woman from a wonderful family. RIP Mrs. Margie. You will surely be missed.

When she said “she done things her way “was exactly the way Margie Uren lived her life . The “old school “ morals and ethics was what I admired of her . Being so independent growing up in one of Hixson’s proud families , that generation and the ones before are unmatched and I am honored to have had the privilege of calling her my friend ! I wil always have her and others from that era my respect and a special place in my heart !
