Obituary of Linda Dorothy Gibson

Linda Dorothy Gibson, 79, of Signal Mountain, TN (formerly of Summerville, SC) passed away Thursday, December 14, 2023 in a local hospital.
She was of the United Methodist faith where she served as a Stephens Minister in her local churches. Linda loved spending time with her elderly friends she met while volunteering in local nursing facilities and loving her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond E. “Skeet” Gibson; son, Jimmy Wayne Mathis; parents, Ralph and Hazel Archibald Mazzeo; and one sister.
Survivors include her daughter, Vicky Windham; sons, Andrew (Kim) Gibson and Jason (Christy) Bochette; sister, Loretta Barrett; five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
As per Linda’s request there will be no services.
In lieu of flowers, please make a memorial contribution to the Alzheimer's Foundation.
