I had the distinct privilege of playing for Mary B. during her final two and a half years at Thrive. When she was in assisted living she would dance over to the piano when I played Duke Ellington's Satin Doll. In The Loft, she often sat down on the bench beside me or stood next to me and hugged me while I played. I made it my mission to kiss her on top of her head every time before I left.
Her life was a blessing for so many people in so many ways. Her smile will be my fond memory for the rest of mine.

Mrs.Lynch taught sixth grade at Highland Park Elementary School in the early 60s. She was an amazing teacher who was always loved and respected by her students. Of course, she taught us a lot about many famous artists and their works, too. She was truly an amazing lady and an all time favorite teacher.
