Obituary of Elizabeth Danielle Raigh Gaddis

Please share a memory of Elizabeth to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Elizabeth Danielle Raigh Gaddis, a beloved mother, friend, and cherished member of our community, passed away surrounded by love on Monday, October 21, 2024. Known for her warm heart, bright smile, and unwavering loyalty, Elizabeth made an impact on everyone she met. Elizabeth was a dedicated waitress at Ankars and Olive Garden, where she formed lifelong friendships and brought joy to her customers with her kindness and humor. Outside of work, she found peace and happiness kayaking through the great outdoors, where she felt most connected to nature. Her love for Harry Potter reflected her adventurous spirit, and she was always up for spending time with those she loved—whether that was cheering for Alabama football with a proud “Roll Tide,” sharing a meal at Mellow Mushroom, or simply enjoying the presence of her children and dear friends. Purple was her favorite color, a perfect reflection of her vibrant personality and deep love for life. She was preceded in death by her father, Ronnie Grasham; her grandparents, Owen and Addie Bell Ross, and great-grandparents. Elizabeth’s memory will live on in the hearts of her children, Braden Gaddis and Azrya Denton; mother and step-father, Tim and Pamela Stewart; brother and sister-in-law, Tyler and Savanna Grasham; grandfather, Roy Grasham; grandmother, Eva Dempsey; nephew, Owen Ray Grasham; nieces, Jordan and Harleigh Grasham; several other nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, extended family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. As we celebrate her life, let us remember her warmth, laughter, and the joy she found in the little things. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, October 25th from 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m with a sharing of memories at 6:00 p.m. where we will gather to honor Elizabeth’s memory and the love she shared so generously with others. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you spend time outdoors or cheer on the Crimson Tide in her honor. Roll Tide forever. “Happiness can be found even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light.” — Albus Dumbledore Arrangements by Legacy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 8911 Dallas Hollow Road, Soddy-Daisy, TN 37379 (423) 843-2525.
