Well Daddy, we have a new president! Donald Trump. I am not sure who you would have liked, but I think it would have been him. Now to see what happens. It is a little bit scary, but the Lord leads us on. I love you! Linda
Happy Birthday Daddy! I am sure you are celebrating with mama and the rest of both your family's. I hope you have a big feast! We miss you down here. I still want to tell you things that I see on TV, or read, or hear on the radio, and then I realize you are not at home any more. Linda, Mary, Angel, and Connie, Ulysses was a father to me for years and wasn't afraid to treat me that way. He is now at his well deserved rest. It is always hardest on those left behind. I actually thought of him over the weekend and wondered if he'd gotten his holy reward yet. Remember that there is a reason for everything and don't forget his laugh or smile. We had the privilege to be Ulysses' neighbor for 19 years. He was willing to help, share in a conversation, and always had a big wave as we passed by! We were truly blessed to call him our friend. To his beautiful family we again give our prayers & condolences. He will be missed but he will forever be in our hearts!
Daddy, i miss you so much, but i know you have a new home now and you are with so many loved ones who had gone on before you. I can only imagine seeing all of you strolling down Heaven's Avenue. I will always love and miss you.
