Please accept sincere condolences to all of you during this time of grief. Death leaves a hurt and void in our lives it doesn't matter who we are or where we are. Sickness, suffering and death was never God's original purpose. However he has made provisions to undo all suffering and to remove death forever. This promise is written in the Bible at Revelation 21:3,4. And Isaiah 33:24 tells us that no one living on earth will say: “I am sick." A life of eternity is before all who are obedient to the requirements of our loving Creator.

My deepest sympathy on the loss of your dear mom. She was a fabulous person, always full of life, energy, and love for The Lord. Her dad was my first "eye, ear, nose and throat" doctor. I spent many hours in his study on Missionary Ridge. Bashie was a wonderful wife, mother and teacher (she taught my sons, Zach and Ned) as well as being a friend to so many in Chattanooga and at First Presbyterian Church where she volunteered so much time. I have so many happy memories of her--particularly her delicious sense of humor. She was a dear friend of my late mom and always shared her comforting presence with those in sorrow, pain, or misery--particularly those who were lonely. God bless each of you during this difficult time. But rest assured, Bashie is now happy, healthy, healed and whole in the presence of The Lord. Praise be! David Walley, Jr.
