Obituary of William Edward Thomas

William "Bill" Thomas, 62, of Chattanooga passed away Thursday, May 23, 2013. He was a US Army Vietnam veteran and member of Green Pond Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Elizabeth Thomas; and brother, Jim Thomas. Survivors include his two brothers, Charles (Brenda) Thomas, Jr. and Don (Diane) Thomas, both of Hixson; sister-n-law, Peggy Thomas of Chattanooga; close friend, Jim Harrison of Soddy-Daisy; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Wednesday in our chapel with Rev. Wilburn Hardyman and Dr. Clankston Freeman officiating. The family will receive friends from 4-8 PM on Tuesday and 1-3 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home.
