Charles Boyd Coleman, Jr., died Monday, August 29, 2016. He was born on August 14, 1933 in Chattanooga. He graduated from Bright School, McCallie School, The University of Chattanooga, and The Nashville School of Law. He was led to The Lord through ministry of Rev. Rocky Young and was a member of The First Presbyterian Church. He was predeceased by his mother Mary Elder Bickerstaff and his father Charles Boyd Coleman. Survivors include his wife, Mary Nelson Coleman, daughters, Laura Coleman Bible and son in law, William Thomas Bible, Jr., Donna Nelson Coleman, grandchildren, William Thomas Bible III, and Mary Elder Bible, sister, Hazel Walton Bickerstaff, brothers, Augustus Howard Bickerstaff III, Garrison Elder Bickerstaff. Services will be held at 12 Noon, Thursday, September 1, 2016 in the chapel of Wann Funeral Home with Thomas Hooke McCallie III officiating. A private family interment will be held. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Bible In the Schools or Changed Lives, or a charity of your choice. Visitation will be held from 11 A. M. to Noon on Thursday at Wann Funeral Home.
