Obituary of Bobby Joe Smith

Bobby Joe Smith, 65, of Chattanooga passed away on Friday, December 16, 2016 at his home. Bobby attended St. Elmo Church of Christ where he served the church doing maintenance work. He was a long time volunteer fire fighter for the Rossville Fire Department. His father Frank Smith preceded him in death. Survivors include his mother, Polly Smith; daughters, Shannon Lindsey and Bobbie (Steve) Bain; brother, Steve (Donna) Smith; five grandchildren and one great grandchild. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, December 19, 2016 in the funeral home chapel with Min. David Pharr officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Hills Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12 noon until the time of the service on Monday at the funeral home.
