Obituary of Herschel L. Woodward

Herschel L. "Jim" Woodward, 71 of Brayton Community passed away Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at his residence with his wife and friends. He was the son of the late Herschel and Lola Freeman Woodward. H.L. retired from ADT Protection Company after 46 years He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Sandra Carlisle Woodward; sons, Vance (Tamra) Woodward, Michael (Susie) Woodward; sisters, Charlotte (Ed) King, Pat (Larry) Mangum; grandchildren, Emme, Wylee Ann, Wyatt, Sara, Jordan, and Laurel Woodward; and many nieces and nephews Graveside services will be held at 11 A. M., Saturday, February 11, 2017 at Chattanooga Memorial Park with Dr. Tom Goss officiating. Pallbearers will be Timmy Ables, Robert Babb, III, Scott Rowe, Chad Rowe, Ralph Griffith, Mark Burke, Andy Holt, and Logan Burke. Memorials may be made in lieu of flowers to Hospice of Chattanooga, P. O. Box 46, Chattanooga, TN 37401. The family will receive friends from 3 - 9 P. M. Friday and 9:30 - 10:30 A. M.
