Obituary of Stanley Charles Colby

Stanley Colby, 84, of Soddy Daisy died Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at his residence. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He retired from the United States Navy and Combustion Engineering. He was a member and served as treasurer for six years of Soddy Lodge #418 F & AM and was also a member of the Scottish Rite. Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Elaine Colby, Soddy Daisy; son, James Colby, Hixson; daughters, Karen (Paul) Baker, Hixson, Linda Higgins, Clearwater, FL; sisters, Jane Sage and Nancy Yearman, both of Bull's Gap, TN; grandchildren, Christian Baker, Zackery, Robby, and Jesse Vaughan, Carly Baker, and Keefe Higgins; eight great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
