Obituary of John Franklin Anderson

John Franklin Anderson II, 67, of Soddy-Daisy passed away Thursday, March 16, 2017. Mr. Anderson retired as an electrician from TVA after 32 years of service. He was a member of IBEW Local 175 and Local 721. He was also a member of the American Pool Players association and was very active in pool leagues around Chattanooga for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Sara Smith Anderson and grandson, Chase Snodgrass. Survivors include his wife, Rita Anderson of Soddy-Daisy; son, John Thaddeaus Anderson of Soddy-Daisy; daughters, Sonya (Lamar Snodgrass) Johnson of Ringgold, and Jessica Anderson of Soddy-Daisy; brother, Steven (Paulette) Anderson of Lenoir City, TN; sisters, Donna (Roy) Grant, of Atlanta, GA and Sarah Beth Anderson of Whiteside, TN; grandchildren, Tabitha Gatlin, Isabella Johnson and Madison Snodgrass; great-grandchildren, Markus Turner and Mylah Gatlin; nephew, Mark Manning of Dahlonega, GA; niece, Jennifer Agnew of Cloudland, GA; great nieces, Summer Schitle, and Kayla Beth Manning; great nephew, Cole Manning and great-great niece, Nicole Manning. Funeral services will be held at 2PM Monday, March 20, 2017 in the funeral home chapel with Dr. Gary Phillips officiating. Interment will follow in Hamilton County Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 2pm-8pm on Sunday and from Noon-2PM on Monday at the funeral home. The family would like to thank Dr. R.
