Obituary of Richard L. Nicholson

Richard L. "Nick" Nicholson, 89, of Chattanooga, passed away Wednesday, July 16, 2014. Mr. Nicholson was born in 1925 to the late Berry and Mamie Nicholson. He retired from American National Bank after 21 years of service. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving during WWII and Korean War. He also served in United States Merchant Marine. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Joyce Gossett Nicholson and longtime friends, Jewell Mullins and Louise Fincher. Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Richard L. Nicholson, Jr. and Linda Nicholson. Graveside services and interment with military honors will be held at 10:00am on Monday in Chattanooga National Cemetery with Dr. David McNabb officiating.
