Doris Ann Kersey, 89, of Chattanooga died Monday, July 21, 2014. Preceded in death by the late, parents Mr. and Mrs. G.W. Venable, husband Claude "Buddy" Kersey, brother Marion "Tookie" Venable. Survivors include son, Mark Kersey of Chattanooga; sister, Mary Johnson and her husband Granville Johnson of Atlanta; nieces, Debra Artz and husband Roger of San Diego, CA, Vickey Bettis of Dothan, AL, Pam Stacey of Dothan, AL; great nephew, Grant Artz of San Diego, CA. A private service was held on July 24, 2014 at Chattanooga National Cemetery. Arrangements are by Wann Funeral Home & Cremation Center, at the foot of historic Lookout Mountain, St. Elmo.
