Obituary of James David Camp

James David Camp, 65, of Decatur, TN and formerly of Soddy Daisy, passed away Sunday, September 10, 2006 in an area hospital. He was a son of the late Ernest and Edna Camp. He was employed by Astec and retired after 29 years of service. James was an Army Veteran, an avid trout fisherman and attended Pisgah Baptist Church in Decatur, TN. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Camp of Decatur, TN; sons, David Camp of Chattanooga and Allen Camp of Decatur, TN; daughter, Diane Camp, Riceville, TN; brother, Hershel Camp; special cousin, Neal Pillion, Decatur, TN; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Graveside services and interment will be held at 1:30 PM Tuesday, September 12, 2006 at Chattanooga Memorial Park with Rev. Herman Jordan officiating. The family will receive friends Monday from 5-9 PM at the funeral home. Arrangements are by Legacy Funeral Home and Cremation Center 8911 Dallas Hollow Road, Soddy-Daisy, TN 37379 (423) 843-2525.
