Obituary of LeRoy A. Mathews

LeRoy "Lee" A. Mathews, 80, of Soddy Daisy, passed away Sunday, November 5, 2006 at a local hospital after a short illness. He had lived in the area for over 35 years and was a Navy veteran of WW II. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Mathews and a brother, Melvin Mathews.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Glenn and Susan Mathews; granddaughter, Alicia Mathews, Hixson; sister, Vinita Root, Palm Desert, CA and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Wednesday in the chapel of the funeral home with burial following at Hamilton Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 5 � 8 PM at Legacy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 8911 Dallas Hollow Road, Soddy Daisy, 843-2525.
