Obituary of Audrey Iness Hopkins

Audrey Iness Gribble Hopkins, 51, of Hixson passed away Saturday, November 18, 2006 at her home. She was born in Heildburg, Germany May 17, 1955. She was a 1973 graduate of Hixson High School. After graduating high school, Audrey moved to Lewes, Delaware where she raised her family, before moving back to Hixson four years ago. Audrey was a member of the First Baptist Church of Soddy-Daisy. She was preceded in death by her son, Andy Hopkins. Survivors include her son, Burli Hopkins of Lewes DE; daughters, Ingrid Hopkins of Greenfield, IN and Amy Hopkins of Honolulu, HI; parents, Andy and Ingrid Gribble of Hixson; twin brother, Andy Gribble of Hixson; sister, Andrea Gribble of Fairfax, VA; and six grandchildren. Funeral Services will be at 7:00 PM Tuesday November 21, 2006 in the funeral home chapel with Dr. Seton Tomyn officiating. The family will receive friends from 4-7 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Lewes, DE on Friday. The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of memorial contributions to First Baptist Church of Soddy-Daisy Building Fund, P.O.
