Clyde Ray Shaffer, 56, of Soddy-Daisy passed away Friday, December 22, 2006 at his home. Clyde was a custodian at Sequoyah Vocational Technical Center for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents William and Frances Smartt.
Survivors include his wife, Connie Shaffer of Soddy-Daisy; sons, Clyde Ray Shaffer, Jr., Quincy Adam Shaffer both of Hixson, and James Richard Shaffer of Soddy-Daisy; sisters, Connie Faye Phillips, Kathy Marie Thompson both of Chattanooga, Sherry Ann Tinker of Bryant, AL. father, J.D. Shafer of Chattanooga; Grandchildren, Meagan, Cameron, Dalton, Colton, Chloe and Autumn. Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Sunday, December 24, 2006 in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Ledon Tinker and Rev. James Brooks officiating. Interment will follow in Hamilton County Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12-9PM Saturday at the funeral home.
