Obituary of Judith Ann Snyder

Judith Ann Snyder, 77, of Soddy-Daisy passed away Saturday, April 28, 2007 in an area health care facility. Mrs. Snyder was born in Hamilton County to the late Richard and Mabell Liner Weatherford. She was retired from Moccasin Bend Hospital as a switchboard operator. She was a member of the Thankful Sunday School Class at Dallas Bay Baptist Church and had taught Sunday School at Cedar Hill Baptist Church for many years. Mrs. Snyder was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, who influenced many with her magnetic and cheerful personality. The family would like to thank all of the staff of Soddy-Daisy Healthcare Center. Hospice of Chattanooga and Dr. Gould for their compassionate care and support. She was preceded in death by her husband Earl Snyder; son, Gary Snyder; granddaughter, Judy Snyder; siblings, Henry Weatherford, Albert Weatherford, Elbert Weatherford, James Weatherford, Hubert Weatherford, Virginia Lewis, Zetta Russell and Hazel Wilson. Survivors include her sister, Eviline Sprague of San Diego, California; son, Steve (Joon) Snyder of Maryville, TN; daughters, Judith Gail (Danny) Boyd of Rossville, GA, Evelyn (Bob) Williams of Soddy-Daisy; grandson, Sean Snyder of Atlanta, GA; great-grandchildren, Michael Snyder of Chattanooga and Aaron Grasty of Chattanooga; special friends, Thurston and JoElla Cooke of Soddy-Daisy and many other special friends. Funeral Services will be at 1:00 P.M. Monday, April 30, 2007 in the funeral home chapel with Dr. Ken Duggan and Dr. Bob Williams officiating. Interment will follow in Chattanooga National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-8 P.M. today, Sunday, April 29, 2007 and Monday from 11:30- 12:30 prior to the funeral service.
