Obituary of Nadine Via

Nadine B. Via, 86, loving mother and wife, of Chattanooga, passed away Sunday, August 26, 2007 in an area hospital. Nadine was a wonderful mother, grandmother and friend with a love of flowers and a gift for growing them. Her affection and knowledge of birds was also a blessing she generously passed on to her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her devoted and loving husband, James Dalton Via. She is survived by her daughter, Sue Ellen Shepherd and her son, James Dalton Via, Jr.; son-in-law, Paul L. Shepherd; grandchildren, Lisa McKenzie, Sheri Yother, Apple Via-Richard, April Cox, and Jacob Via; great-grandchildren, Kristina McKenzie, Ashley McKenzie, Michael McKenzie, Brittney Yother, Dillon Yother, Kaylyn Via, Kendal Via, and Vincent Via-Richard. Services will be held at 7:00 PM Thursday, August 30, 2007 in the funeral home chapel. The family will receive friends from 6:30 PM until the time of the service.
