Obituary of Nelda Sue Butler

Nelda Sue Butler, 65, of Soddy-Daisy passed away Tuesday, September 18, 2007 at her residence. She was a member of Bakewell Bible Church. Nelda worked as an RN at various healthcare facilities and was formerly a welder fitter at Watts Bar Nuclear Plant.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Doc and Fannie Jenkins.
She is survived by her husband, Dalton A. Butler of Soddy-Daisy; daughters, Mitzi Boyd of Birmingham, AL; Stefannie Welch of Chattanooga and Cyndi Finley of Hixson; step-son, Daric Butler of Sale Creek; sister, Ida Mae Powell of Hixson; grandchildren, Ariel, Logan, Paytin, Jacob and Olivia; and many close friends and relatives.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Friday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Jack Brown officiating with interment to follow in Rhea Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Thursday and from Noon until the time of the service at the funeral home.
