Dear Pam ..... we are so very sorry to hear about your loss. Know that we are all thinking of you in Cleveland. No one will ever be able to fill the void you feel this day, but the Lord will flood your heart with sweet, sweet memories of your Dad. May the Lord carry you thru the days ahead. God Bless You and Your Family. Phil 4:13 Mary Morris Brenda Lawson & Associates

Dear Polly, Pam & Tommy I am so sorry to hear about this. Gene always, always had a smile and a hug for me anytime he saw me. I loved that. He had positive things to say and encourage whenever he could. I bet he met up with my Dad when he walked through heaven's gate. Mom & Dad loved him very much too. The only thing I know is that yes it hurts and it hurts really bad but we must take comfort in knowing... we will see him again he just made it there before us. I am sure he is smiling right now just like he did all the time. May God comfort you and give you all peace. Below is a poem I found. I'm Free Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free; I'm following the path God Laid for me. I took His hand when I heard Him call I turned my back and I left it all. I could not stay another day To laugh, to love, to work. or play. Tasks left undone must stay that way. I found that place at the close of day. If my parting has left a void, Then fill it with remembered joy A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss Ah, yes, these things I too will miss. Be not burdened with times of sorrow; I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow. My life's been full; I savored much Good friends, good times, a loved one's touch. Perhaps my time seemed all to brief; Don't lengthen it now with undue grief. Lift up your heart and share with me God wanted me now; He set me free. Author Unknown

You all have always been part of our family. We never had friends that were as close as you and Gene and the children. Buddy always enjoyed fishing with Gene. May God Bless you all and keep you in his tender care. God Grant me the strength to accept the things I can not change. The courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference. Gary's sister gave me that poem when Buddy died. I keep it in my kitchen and read it everyday. Love you, Velma and Burl
