Dear Polly, Pam & Tommy I am so sorry to hear about this. Gene always, always had a smile and a hug for me anytime he saw me. I loved that. He had positive things to say and encourage whenever he could. I bet he met up with my Dad when he walked through heaven's gate. Mom & Dad loved him very much too. The only thing I know is that yes it hurts and it hurts really bad but we must take comfort in knowing... we will see him again he just made it there before us. I am sure he is smiling right now just like he did all the time. May God comfort you and give you all peace. Below is a poem I found.
