Dear Mr. and Mrs. Hall: I was saddened to learn of the death of your beloved son. I won't pretend to know how you feel. God told Mary, the mother of Christ, that she would see him die and would feel like a sword had run through her (Luke 2:35). God also saw his son die and he expressed his grief by causing darkness, earthquakes, and tearing the curtain in the temple in half (Matthew 27:45,51). Yes, "the Lord cares deeply when his loved ones die"(Psalms 116:15) and because he cares, "the Lord is close to the brokenhearted"(Psalms 34:18). "Is it not one Father that all of us have?"(Malachi 2:10). If that is so, than God would have, in a sense, been Sebastion's grandfather, and what Grandfather doesn't love and dote on his grandson? "For your love for me is so great. You have rescued me from the depths of death"(Psalms 86:13). Like God's own son, Sebastion can be rescued by Christ calling Sebastion with a loud voice, at a day God set aside, and Sebastion will live (John 5:25). Until that day, may God grant comfort to you and all the family. Respectfully: Robin Harris
