Last time we were at Dallas Bay, we sat next to Tom. He & June started going to Dallas Bay not too long after we did.(back in the old santuary) Everytime we saw Tom, it was like he hadn't seen us for ages, from the warm greeting he gave us. He always had an attitude of God's love. Although we know he is with our Lord, it is with sorrow that so many people will miss his happy welcoming face. I wish there were more people like him on this earth, as he was a good example of what God wants us all to be. We'll always hold precious his memory, as I'm sure you- as his family- will. He is a gold nuggett. We'll be praying for you & your family. An Angel in life- and Saint in heaven. We'll miss him. Coleman & Darlene Armstrong.

Man, what a guy! All I can say is that I am honored to have known this wonderful man. He always took time to speak to me and I must say that it always left me feeling proud that he knew who I was. I met him when I was a young man in 5th grade and I always had the deepest respect and honor for him and his wonderful family. He was truly a "Class Act" and his memory will live with me as long as I am on this earth. Tommy was an inspiration and I am honored to have known him.

Just as Carson-Newman made the difference in my life, I know that Tommy felt the same way. He was a fun guy to have in our CN dorm, affectionately known at THE BARN! Tommy was accepting of everyone - athlete or not. He was loyal, caring, involved, and a strong presence for good. I pray for his Family and Friends to be re-assured and sustained during this time of sorrow. To know Christ as Personal Savior is to live abundantly for all eternity.

Dear June and family, Tom was such a wonderful man and such a joy to be around. He was always so kind and loving to all of us. We enjoyed so much living next door to you and getting to know both of you. We loved seeing his smiling face at church. He will be very much missed here, but we KNOW he is with the Lord now. We want you to know how much we love you and your family and we will be praying for all of you. In Loving Sympathy, Joy and Steve Buchanan and sons, Taylor, Logan, and Wes

How fitting that we should be sending "on line" condolences to Tom Dalton. He is probably responsible for getting my mom to consider using a computer! TJ (that's what my daddy called him) will be missed. I will always remember his regular visits to the hospital when my dad was sick. He got hearty laughter out of dad when not many others could. He liked to get us going too...Im sure the nurses didnt like the noise but we needed it! I sat next to him at one of Lindsey's basketball games and got a huge kick out of his comments...reminded me of things my dad would say.( I might've been embarrassed if I hadnt enjoyed it so much) What a spirit! You will find such comfort in remembering his sense of humor! Our deepest sympathy to you all. Love, Charlie and Jane Reynolds

Tom Dalton was one of the most special people I have ever had the privilege and honor of knowing. He knew the value of a smile, a hug,a word of encouragement and honesty. Tom never failed to support me in my singing endeavors always lifting me up even on the not so good jobs that came along sometimes. He would always smile and give me a nod and a thumbs up. He introduced me to the love of my life,my husband Byron and stood by Byron as he grew in his newfound Christianity. He never was afraid to talk to Byron like a father would. My heart will always have an empty place now that Tom is gone but I know that we will meet again in Heaven. I will now consider him my own special angel!! Byron and I love June and the family very much and will pray for them daily. God has blessed us all who knew Tom. We are lucky indeed. Byron and Kelley Mitts
