Obituary of Christopher Leon Phillips

Christopher Leon Phillips, 35, of Soddy-Daisy passed away Friday, October 2, 2009. Chris was an employee of Viking Mechanical. He was a wonderful son, husband and father who loved his children, friends and family and was a uniquely and extremely talented person. Chris was a dependable friend who will be missed dearly. He is survived by his wife, Rebekah Wilson Phillips, son, King Wilson Phillips, daughter, Ruby Edith Phillips, parents, Leon and Rita Phillips, brother, Kevin Lee Phillips of Soddy-Daisy; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Carlos and Barbara Wilson of Soddy-Daisy; brothers-in-law, Robert (Laura) Wilson of Hixson; Matthew (Angie) Wilson of Soddy-Daisy; Chris (Buffi) Wilson of Red Bank; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, October 7, 2009 in the Legacy Funeral Home Chapel with friend, Clay Whitfield officiating. The family will receive friends from 4:00-7:00 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home. The family requests in lieu of flowers memorial contributions are made to a Trust Fund for his children, in care of Rebekah Phillips, P.O. Box 374, Soddy-Daisy, TN 37384.
