We light this candle for our brother so he may find his way to his ancestors before him. We will see you there brother! "Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me."

palying in the school band this is my brother junior - he hated to be called that! i wanted to share about the day before the rose bowl parade . he was in the school marching band at pacifica high school of garden grove and was sitting at the table telling us how excited he was o be going and how funny it would be if he eat too many beans for dinner he would have the farts all threw the parade. we laughed at him and just to show us that it could happen he over eat beans. and the next morning we all piled in the car and went to see jr. march in the band playing his trumpet i remember he looked so serous when he went by and i remember waving at him as he lifted his head at us as he went by. being a younger sister i was proudly telling the people next to us that that was my brother over there even if they didn't give a care who he was but i told them anyway. when the parade was over we couldn't find him right away but when we did he was in the porta potty letting out the beans. he said he felt sorry for the guys behind him that had to march in the aftermath as he released gas with every third step. i don't know if it was true but he sure made us kids laugh. i got to see him last October he came to my house and told me he loved me and glad we got a chance to spend some time together as i watched him eat water melon seems he was always eatting..lol i miss him already. bye junior i love you. carla

I met Carlos, June, 2006. He was a beautiful, intelligent, hard working man, that loved life. I was blessed and honored to be able to spend the last 3 years of his short life, with him. He never met a stranger and left a lasting impression, on everyone he came in contact with. You were the love of my life, Carlos... I will miss you, always. God Bless you, my love.

My sincerest sympathies to the family of Carlos for your loss. Though Carlos and I met 40 years ago through Bern, I never really got to know him. I saw him several times a week, yet we never talked. I remember he was always quiet and kept to himself when he was young. The only time we spent together was in the early 70's and then only for a few minutes, fishing at the Hueneme Pier. I do remember him well and was looking forward to seeing him again last year but that was not to be. Rest in Peace, Junior.
