Obituary of Thomas Lee Workman

Thomas Lee Workman, 74, of Harrison and formerly of Albuquerque, NM, passed away Tuesday, May 3, 2011 in an area hospital. Mr. Workman received his Bachelor of Science from Ohio State University and his Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of New Mexico. He retired from Sandia National Laboratories after 36 years of service. He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Workman; son, Gregg Workman; and Sister, Shirley Gustavson. Survivors include his son, Shawn Workman of Harrison; daughters, Laura (Robert) Mathews of Leesburg, VA, Christine (Steve) Davis of Las Cruces, NM, Sandra (Mark) Padilla of Mesa, AZ, Cynthia (Kris) Gaede of Albuquerque, NM; 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 4-6 PM Friday, May 6, and from 4-6 PM Saturday May 7 at the funeral home. Services will be private.
