When we had nowhere else to go, Marlon would always make room for us at his home. He never made a difference between his own children & the rest of us. He was a dear, sweet man & I will always love him. Respectfully, Robby Houston.

Marlon was my grandfather, but as most people know, I called him Daddy. Most people never knew why, but I was his first grandchild, and everyone else around me called him Daddy. I didn't want to be different, so Daddy it was then and it always stayed that way. Some of my greatest memories were with him and nanny in the old house on Baker St. You always felt his love for you and he showed it as well. He was one of the greatest men I had the pleasure of being loved by. That place in my heart will always belong to him. I miss him but it gives me peace to know he is at rest. I know nanny was waiting on him. I love you Daddy!

I wish I had known my good buddy had passed.I will always remember the fun times we had working together at the welcome center. Marlon could brighten the worst day, and had a colorful personality. I loved him very much.
