Marlon Thomas Massengale, 88, of Chattanooga passed away on Friday, February 24, 2012 in an area healthcare facility.
Mr. Massengale was a Navy Veteran of WW II serving in the Pacific. He retired from the Tennessee State Welcome Center on I 24 after thirty years of service.
His wife Mildred Massengale preceded him in death.
Survivors include his sons, David, Boddy, Pat and Eddie Massengale; daughters, Sharon Massengale and Karen Shelton; brother, Kenneth Massengale.
Graveside services with military honors will be held at 11:30 AM on Tuesday in Chattanooga National Cemetery .
The family request memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Chattanooga, PO Box 19269 Chattanooga, TN 37416.
Arrangements are by Legacy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Soddy Daisy, TN.
