Gene was a very good friend and co-worker. I had the priviledge of working with Gene for many years at Peachtree Trane. I was proud to have known him. My prayers are with his family at this difficult time. Jimmy Ackermann

I will always love my sweet Granddaddy. I remember when I thought he had made me a "parking lot" just for me to ride my big-wheel & then I was soo upset when I found out it was actually the foundation to his music room & garage. I loved going to all the bluegrass shows to watch him play his steel guitar.
