Alvin, please accept my condolences concerning the death of Edythe. I have very fond childhood memories of Edythe. While her daddy, Bro. Harrison was the pastor of Pilgrims Rest Baptist, she would take me home with her on Sundays for the evening, sometimes during the summer she would take me on Sunday nights and bring me back home on Wednesday nights. They continued to come get me sometimes on Wednesday nights after resigning from Pilgrims Rest and pastored a church in Dayton, (and if I am not mistaken is when she met you). Our familes continued to be close friends over the years and enjoyed many good times together. Please, extend my sympathy to the family. Sincerely, Darlene
